Neugen Diagnostics (India) Pvt. Ltd. is engaged, since 2003, in marketing and distribution of Diagnostic Kits and instruments for International companies in the Indian Market, with product line focus in Microbiology for the clinical segment. Neugen also has a major presence in Food & Feed Diagnostics providing kits for the analysis of various parameters like General Microbiology, Pathogens, Antibiotic Residues, Mycotoxins etc.The major customers in clinical segment are Government Hospitals, Corporate Hospitals and 'A' Class laboratories. In the field of Food and Feed diagnostics, majority of the export houses for Sea Food, Spices, Dairy and other analytical laboratories are major customers.
Products are directly promoted with technical back up and support on semi and fully automatic systems. Neugen also provides services for quality control and proficiency test programs.
Neugen represents major international companies such as 3M (USA), R biopharm (Germany), Charm (USA). Neugen will very soon manufacture specific products in Microbiology for clinical and industrial segments with foreign technical know-how.
Key Products:
- Clinical Segments. The top product is Urichrome-II from international Microbio, France for quicker isolation and identification of micro organisms in urine samples for urinary tract infections.
- Mycotoxins. Analytical kits from R-Biopharm using three different methods – Card Test, Elisa Reader, Immunoaffinity Column Technique-help in toxin identification. This product line has application on most food products including animal feed, dairy segment, spices, dry fruits, herbal pharmaceuticals etc.
- Presence of Antibiotic residues is the major issue for Sea Food, Dairy, Honey, Egg and other food products. The product lines from R-Biopharm as well as from Charm finds application in these market segments. They enable quick screening of banned antibiotics in various food products.
- Isolation, identification of pathogens in all food commodities is a must and important criteria. The product line of 3M provides distinct advantage.
