Harmony Musical Instruments (Madras) Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1996 to manufacture Guitars and other musical instruments and related components.

The company has a primary objective of creating a production facility capable of producing high quality Electric and Acoustic Guitars. Commercial production commenced in 1997 and over the years this company has established for itself a well-regarded reputation in the international market for Electric Guitars.


Product Range & Features:

Harmony manufactures an extensive range of the well-known “Jackson” brand of Electric Guitars for Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, USA, a world leader in Guitars, from entry-level models to High-end variants. The company is involved with Fender in intensive efforts to design and develop a unique range of new “Squier’ brand models. The market reaction, to quote Fender, is "sensational".

The company also manufactures and supplies high gloss and high finish wooden wallet boxes/trays for export.

Location: The company is a 100% EOU (Export Oriented Unit). Its manufacturing unit is located in Chennai in the Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ), which is also a notified Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

Manufacture: The factory has installed state-of-the-art equipment to achieve the high precision required in manufacturing operations as well as the flawless finish needed in the final product. The factory also manufactures precision wood products and will expand its activities progressively to step up manufacture of Acoustic guitars and other musical devices and accessories.

Product Development: Electric guitar models with design features such as “set-in-neck”, “set-through”, “hollow-body electric”, etc., and specially crafted guitars featuring bodies and necks with a variety of wood inlays, have been successfully developed.
