Hamon Shriram Cottrell, a new JV for Wet Cooling and Air Pollution Control activities in India, is being formed between Shriram EPC and Hamon Thermopack Engineers Pvt Ltd,
a 100% subsidiary of the Hamon Group of Belgium.
Hamon Group is a world leader in cooling tower technology, especially natural draft coolers, with over 100 years of experience in the field.
Since 1989, SEPC has specialized
in the design and construction of wide range of mechanical draught cooling towers.
Both partners were already collaborating in the Wet Cooling market through a joint operation agreement since 2005.

The Agreement with Hamon Shriram Cottrell will also cover Air Pollution Control systems, through a license agreement for using the Hamon Research Cottrell technologies
(with some restrictions in the
cement market).
