A qualified Social Worker and a Counsellor are available at the Ashram premises for providing family counselling for families in crisis. All Women Police Stations refer such cases to the Ashram for counselling and intervention.

Donors provide for children in our outreach programs too. Uniforms, medicines, Breakfast porridge powder, clothes, Provisions like Dhal, oil and sugar are regularly collected for distribution to the needy identified by our social workers.

More than 100 beneficiaries include mentally ill orphans, poor school children not covered by any other sponsorship schemes, and some other Homes as well.
Vocational Training is an integral component of Ashram’s activities in strengthening the community, especially the women. Tailoring, and Pickle, Squash, Jam making classes are conducted regularly to benefit women of poorer sections especially mothers of sponsored children of CARE Trust.

Linkage to Child Line and Women Police stations besides other NGOs provide ample opportunities to serve the most exploited and vulnerable groups of children who need timely care and protection. More than 25 children have found welcoming arms in Ashram during times of crisis when other doors hesitated to open.

Total number of beneficiaries through ashram project are about 200 in
one year.
