  Care Education Helpline- empowering children with education: Sponsorships of Education to poor and deserving children, Tuition centres, Nutritional supplement, Career guidance, Training of teachers, Summer camps mark this unique partnership of Shriram Social Welfare Trust with CARE TRUST, UK.

Sponsorship Program: Select children from 8th to 10th grade, studying in Government or Aided schools from poverty stricken families with the aptitude to pursue education are given sponsorship of school fees, uniforms and books. Home studies are made, and their progress is closely monitored with apt support and counseling at adequate intervals. Over 500 children have benefited continuously from this program, which is seen as a concept of reinforcement of trust in the society and prevention of dropouts.
  Tuition Centres: These centres supplement the existing educational system with extra inputs. Tutorial classes after school in English and Mathematics for Class X have been arranged. Nutritional snacks are provided to the children. Tuition teachers at paid by the Trust. All of these are done with the prime objective of assisting the children in coping with the pressures of studies immediately after school as they do not get an opportunity to study once they are back home.

a safe future for their children find solace in this partnership program with RAJ LOOMBA Trust UK. 200 children have been identified in the schools of Chennai we support and a commitment for 5 years towards their expenses and education at Rs.500
 

per month. Strengthening the families and increasing their earning capacity is also a part of the support scheme.
